Been interested in photography since school days when I used to develop and print my own black and white photos. Worked up through various cameras to 35mm SLR before switching to digital. Most of what I did involved special occasions such as holidays, weddings etc. On retirement had the time to join a club and try different styles. I enjoy sharing and competing with friends and keen to improve my technique.

I started doing photography when I got my first 35mm camera for my 18th birthday in 1984. I went digital in 2002 and enjoy both monochrome and colour photography and I have learned a lot since joining GPS in 2012.

I have enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember, but more enthusiastically since I discovered digital. I like all aspects of photography whether it be landscape, still life, macro etc. I haver made new

My name is Tinus Bojen and I have been a member of the Grimsby Photographic Society since the beginning of 2011, it was the introduction of digital photography that rekindled my enthusiasm to start taking pictures again. 1968 was the last time I enjoyed using a camera (whilst serving in the far east of Asia) it was a Nikkormat with a 50mm F1:8 lens that was stuck on auto everything!!!! This time I decided to find out exactly how to make good pictures and understand the workings of photography,

I like using film, and have various cameras using various formats which I dust off and use now and again. I like being creative in the darkroom using film, paper and light sources to get different effects. My current "thing" is lumen prints ~ formerly referred to as sun prints ~ even the most humble weed can make a graceful image. I use digital when I want to use colour and sometimes for convenience ~ my favourite button is the delete button. I have been a member of GPS for about 15 years, so ha

I enjoy all aspects of photography, and especially the creative side that comes with the use of computers.
